Anderson Lodge Wedding | Ariel Washington | Emily and Michael
Emily and Michael hosted a beautiful wedding at the Anderson Lodge in Ariel Washington. This was my first time capturing a wedding at this venue and it surprised me in the best way. I am so glad I crossed paths with these two! From the initial consult call we just clicked and everything they were describing they wanted in their wedding was right up my alley.
I arrived about thirty minutes early the day of to meet some of their closest family and friends. Emily and the ladies got ready in a old wooded cabin on the Anderson Lodge property while the fellas where in a large open room attached to the reception area. Walking around the property I was so impressed with how everything was laid out. Emily and Michael had their first look on a pathway leading up to the ceremony. I absolutely loved their reactions! We grabbed a few more portraits of them around the property before the kids got bored and had to steal them away from me.
They had their ceremony on the lower level of Anderson Lodge. It was among some of their closest family and friends. The kids did not get the memo they were supposed to be out of the way during the ceremony. It made for some great photos though! Michael’s brother was their officiant and did a fantastic job. He seriously needs to write a book! After the ceremony their guests showered them with bubbles as they exited into the reception where they could kick back and have a few drinks.
As the sun started setting they shared toasts with some of their closest family members, a first dance and lots of food. As the dance floor started to get underway there was no shortage of energy. They even made a circle around them with all their phone flashlights on while they were dancing.
I can’t thank you both for letting me capture your day and crossing paths when we did! You both are amazing individuals and can’t wait to see what you accomplish in this next chapter.
